 (In [13847]) Refs #3326. Applies Shane's GetFreeInputs patch.

 This allows you to set up a firewire recorder on one backend and an analog
 recorder on another backend, which share the same STB, with input groups
 resolving the conflicts. This is mostly for easier debugging and
 correctness, input groups should be able to span more than one backend.
