 Apologies but this is probably not the correct forum for this. I am a bit
 of a noob, but how can I install these patches with FC5? I thought
 updating to the latest myth0.20-15x packages would apply any fixes.

 BTW. I configured XvMC and test to see if this problem occurs while using
 XvMC, it doesnt, but instead I get "Error Occurred while display video"
 after a much longer period of time (ie. couple of hrs of play). The below
 errors are displayed in the log.
