#4314: changeset 15119 breaks compiling on opengl enabled non-nvidia drivers

 after changset 15119 was implemented, I could no login compile with opengl
 support enabled on my Debian Unstable box. I'm not using a NVidia card.
 Removing the change solved the compile issue.
