Comment(by paulh):

 (In [15116]) Use despatchNow() to send the PLAYBACK_START/PLAYBACK_END
 messages so they
 are despatched immediately rather than added to the event queue otherwise
 the music player may not receive the PLAYBACK_START event before the other
 player starts especially if an external player is used.
