There are some DVB-S services on Optus D1 that don't have any SDT or NIT
entries on their TS stream. For details see 12643V at
http://www.lyngsat.com/optusd1.html. This impacts MythTV users in
Australia and New Zealand. Users of other Linux PVR projects and users
 with STBs are not effected.

 danielk suggests the following enhancement:
 ----------
Just set the sistandard to 'avpid', and then stick the pids in the
pidcache with a bogus tableid. This way multiple audio and video
pids can be supported. All you have to do to TVRec is extend
SetupDTVSignalMonitor with the new tuningmode. Implementing a
signal monitor and streamdata classes should be relatively simple.
 ----------

This fix would be a great benefit to the MythTV Australia and New Zealand
 communities.

Attached is an example TS from this transponder
