 A recent post on the mailing list raised this.

 If the user enables xvmc during the configure stage the configure script
 does not test for the availability of the xvmc headers.

 This adds a test for X11/extensions/XvMClib.h and disables xvmc if it is
 not present.

 This avoids the situation where a user enables xvmc, doesn't have it
 installed and consequently gets a compile error.
