 This is again why you should use the Gentoo ebuilds and not try to roll
 your own when you don't know what you are properly doing.

 -lXvMCW is 100% correct and should be used. libXvMCW is a wrapper for the
 appropriate XvMC library and will use the nVidia supplied library and
 abstract all the function calls to their appropriate ones.
