Comment:

 This happens when cur_output_size is zero. The error message isn't very
 helpful but it wasn't going to work anyway. The information telling mtd
 the next vobu is corrupt; mtd currently doesn't attempt to workaround this
 (it could look at the global vobu map, though to lose less it could also
 try the same offset as most of the previous packets).
