 I can confirm this bug on Slackware-current, with kernel 2.6.15.6 on an
 Athlon thunderbird 1.4GHz, gcc 3.4.6, and configure flags --enable-opengl-
 vsync --enable-xvmc.

 I started noticing it with svn 9483.
