 mythtv-setup hangs on my system during process of adding new capture
 card.[[BR]]
 after selecting "(New capture card)" in the "2. Capture cards" menu the
 main menu is shown and mythtv-setup hangs.

 my system is:
  * gentoo linux 2006.0 on ~x86.
  * pentium 4, 1gb ram
  * nvidia geforce graphics board
  * hauppauge nexus-ca

 there is no error, warning etc in any log. system does not freeze, program
 does not crash.
