 The "#" separator is used by the scanner when it doesn't find an ATSC or a
 DVB channel, but does find a channel in the PAT. These turn up when you do
 a QAM scan with most cable providers. These are intended to be ranamed to
 match your cable provider's number assignments, and we intentionally don't
 use any of the ATSC separators so that these unnamed channels don't
 conflict with ATSC channels.
