 Not sure if this is a myth issue or a mysql issue.  It can be alleviated
 by adjusting the auto-timeout within mysql but...  After the 8 hr timeout
 where mysql shuts off connections you start seeing

 2006-02-04 15:25:12.614 DB Error (KickDatabase):
 Query was:
 SELECT NULL;
 Driver error was [2/2006]:
 QMYSQL3: Unable to execute query
 Database error was:
 MySQL server has gone away

 This is using the latest SVN of mythtv and MySql 5.0.  Which causes the
 backend to lose record of programs that it needs to record.
