 Any recent version of svn, including an update I just finished,
 incorrectly display all menus and backgrounds in only 8 colors. Live tv
 and recorded programs play correctly in 24 bit color.

 I haved tried everything I know to increase the depth with no luck. System
 is fc4 kept current with apt-get. nVidia FX5200 video card. I have tried
 both the opengl and qt painters, nv and nvidia X11 drivers, and several
 different resolutions. I would be happy to provide additional info or
 debug output. Let me know what you want/need.

 This system works fine with 0.19-fixes.
