 The AmiNET124 is a small set-top box which takes MPEG transport streams
 containing MPEG2 or H.264 video and AAC audio (probably AC3 and MPEG2 as
 well) and outputs a signal to a television.

 MythTV could be enhanced to send an MPEG transport stream to the AmiNET in
 a multicast UDP stream.

 Alternatively, it might be possible to develop a java application which
 runs on the AmiNET124 and acts as a mythfrontend.

 The tricky part is implementing pause/rewind/skip, and then the menus
 (assuming you don't use it as a PURE render sink).
