 Not fixed here. The latest change is an improvement over the breakage
 caused earlier but hasn't returned the text to the correct size, as it was
 a week ago.

 I'm using a 4:3 standard monitor (1280x1024) without any aspect ratio or
 overscan overides and the isthmus OSD theme. When viewing 16:9 recordings
 the OSD text is _very_ small. 4:3 recordings are fine, although the text
 seems subtly stretched vertically. I had the OSD text set to small but
 switching to default didn't seem to have any affect on size at all.
