 Hmmm, do you know how to profile?
 If not there is a guide for MythTV profiling at:
   http://www.cuymedia.net/doxygen-dev-
 docs/html/group__profiling__mythtv.html

 If you list the top 20 items on the list when this occurs it should help
 locate the problem. Make sure to enable profiling only after the problem
 begins, and stop it soon after it goes away.
