 I'd like to see debian packaging of mythtv, mythweb and the other modules.

 Problem is that mdz is no longer maintaining the debian packages, and I
 use debian...

 Is it possible to get mdz's debian/ directory into the upstream sources?
 If so, I have a couple of patches (man-pages, packaging glitches) that I
 would like to apply...
