 I believe I know the cause of this. It's due to the fallback mechanism
 to a previous frame. It is, but shouldn't be, looking at frames from
 before a skip.

 Unless you are using XvMC this probably happens because the pause frame
 contains stale data. With XvMC it is a little more complicated.

 The effect is trivial but fixing it is not so trivial due to XvMC, so I'm
 pushing it to the next release on my fix queue.
