Log Message:
Patch from David Engel to make the OSD update while it's being shown, instead of just being static.
Patch from Tako Schotanus to add some support for the backend server going away.
Add some additional support code for this, allow it to reconnect, etc.
Patch by Doug Larrick to fix a bug in libavformat for detecting some mpeg-ts streams.
Bits of a patch by Jefferson Hunt to the ivtv profile stuff.  Changed his defaults to 4500/6000.
